Terms of use
Plain Terms.
Last updated: May 2026. By using Monark you agree to the terms below. If anything is unclear, write to us — we'll explain in plain words.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. One person, one account. If you suspect someone else has access, change your password and let us know.
What Monark is for
Monark is a personal money tracker. You log your own transactions, set budgets, and read what the app reports back. It is not financial advice, accounting software, or a substitute for a CPA. Don't make life decisions based on a single Monark insight without thinking about it.
Your data is yours
Everything you log belongs to you. We won't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything outside of generating your own AI insights. You can request a copy or deletion at any time.
Things that will get you kicked out
Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping, no spamming the signup endpoint, no attempts to access other users' data, no using the AI features to generate content unrelated to your own finances. We may suspend accounts that do any of the above.
No warranty
Monark is provided "as is." We try to keep it accurate and online, but software has bugs and servers go down. Don't rely on Monark as the sole source of truth for anything that matters financially.
Changing these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If anything material changes we'll show you a notice next time you sign in. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
