You’re 18 days in. Are you 18 days spent?

05Questions

Before you sign up.

01Do I have to connect my bank?+

No. Monark takes entries you add yourself and spreadsheets you import. There is no bank linking, so there are no credentials to hand over.

02What does the advisor actually do?+

It reads your month and writes up to six short notes about what moved and what is drifting. They are saved with your account and only regenerate when you ask for them.

03Can I use my own currency?+

Yes. Currency is a setting on your account and every amount in the app follows it.

04Can I get my data back out?+

Export is built into Settings. Choose a date range and download your transactions.

05Does it work on a phone?+

It is a web app with a mobile layout and can be installed to your home screen. Logging a transaction on the way out of a shop is the main thing it has to be good at.

06So how is it free?+

Nothing is held back for a paid plan today, and there is no upgrade page to find. If a paid tier ever arrives, accounts made before it keep everything they already have.
